What to Do If the Wrong Ink Is Added to a Pre-Inked Flash Stamp
Stop adding ink immediately, stamp out as much of the incompatible ink as possible, then apply dedicated flash stamp ink from the die surface.

As soon as you notice that the wrong ink was added, do not add any more ink. Make repeated impressions on clean white paper until the image is completely unclear and no color can be seen on the paper before moving to the next step.

Why Incompatible Ink Can Cause Blockage
A Pre-Inked Flash Stamp stores and moves ink through a microporous foam die. The pigment particles, viscosity, or solvent system of an incompatible ink may not suit these very small channels, restricting ink flow and causing faint, uneven, or completely missing impressions. The actual degree of damage varies with the die and the ink used.

Apply Dedicated Flash Stamp Ink to the Die Surface
After stamping out as much of the old ink as possible, apply a small, even amount of dedicated Pre-Inked Flash Stamp Refill Ink to the lettered die surface and every area that forms the impression. Let it absorb naturally from the surface and do not add too much at once. Use the related refill guide below for waiting and wiping instructions.

CautionAvoid Actions That Can Make the Damage Worse
Do not rinse the die with water, do not keep mixing inks of another type or unknown origin, and do not pour new ink through the refill port. While incompatible ink remains inside, filling through the port can push it deeper into the die and expand blockage, separation, or contamination.

CautionAlcohol Soaking Is a High-Risk Last Resort
Soaking the entire die in high-concentration or pure alcohol is not routine maintenance. It can deform the die, weaken adhesive layers, damage the impression surface, and creates a fire hazard. Consider only a short treatment after confirming material compatibility, accepting that the die may become unusable, and keeping the work away from ignition sources; contact support first whenever possible. Let the die air-dry completely before surface application of dedicated ink. Recovery is not guaranteed. If there is still no improvement, stop repeated treatment and replace the die or stamp.
