How-To Guide
How to Choose the Right Ink for Your Stamp
Different stamp mechanisms require different inks. Identify the stamp type first, then choose the corresponding product.
01
Recommended MethodFirst, Check Whether the Stamp Uses a Stamp Pad
If the stamp requires an independent Stamp Pad, start with Y100 Stamp Pad Ink. If it does not use a separate pad, inspect its internal mechanism next.
02
Pre-Inked Flash Stamp
No separate Stamp Pad is required. This is a pre-inked flash stamp that stores ink within a microporous foam die. Refill it with A100, A100 Pro, or S100 Pre-Inked Flash Stamp Refill Ink.
03
Self-Inking Stamp
This type usually has an automatic rotating mechanism and an internal ink pad. H100 is a liquid refill ink added to that internal ink pad, not a replacement pad. H100 is In Development and Coming Soon.
04
Traditional Hand Stamp / Rubber Stamp
These stamps usually require an independent Stamp Pad. When impressions become faint, refill the pad with Y100 Stamp Pad Ink.
05
Sponge Stamp
This type stores ink in an internal sponge. Its care is similar to that of a stamp used with an independent pad. Y100 Stamp Pad Ink is recommended.
